Italian Sweet Basil Powder
Finely ground dried Italian sweet basil (Ocimum basilicum) with a warm, sweet, peppery aroma. Use it in pasta sauces, pesto, pizza, soups, salad dressings, marinades, breads and roasted vegetables, or blend it into olive oil and dips. Add it near the end of cooking to keep its fragrance. Start with about 1/2 teaspoon and adjust to taste.
Store in a cool, dry place in a tightly closed container, away from light.
